Ethan is an Afghan asylum seeker who arrived in the UK in August. The government places them in refugee camps, unable to go out and earn money during the long waiting period for their status, and they are given food every day, sometimes lentils and rice, sometimes beans. The food kept him and his family hungry.
Money donated by donors through Food Passage was received and corresponding Food was distributed. He and his family were able to eat eggs and bread with meat, which gave them renewed hope for a new life.
He told us that he was very grateful to their donor Joven for bringing them warmth in winter and hoped that they would have a chance to get to know each other in the future.
